HCM City – On October 17, 18 and 19, 2011, Vietnam Supply Chain is going to hold a congress on purchase, manufacturing and retails & distribution in Vietnam’s market namely “Source.Make.Deliver 2011.” Taking place at InterContinental Asiana Saigon Hotel, in the corner of Hai Ba Trung and Le Duan streets in Dist. 1, HCM City, the congress will focus on three main topics: purchase, manufacturing and retails & distribution. These are also three biggest factors and involved into each other in the supply chain. Each topic will be discussed within one day, creating convinience for participants who can choose their favorite ones to join (See the detail program below). The Congress is expected to welcome some 200 businesspeople every day who are CEOs, managing directors and directors of supply chain, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, purchase, planning and finance from various business fields. Some of notable fields are retails and distribution, warehousing, logistics, automobile, electronics, construction materials, shoes and leather, garment and textiles, chemicals, food, drinks, energy, medicine, wood, etc. During the congress, participants can get information and knowledge updates about sources of goods purchase, manufacturing and distribution through analysis, practical studies and experience from supply chain specialists. The particpants will also realize new ideas to apply for their supply chains and make relationship with local and foreign partners. Besides, the congress also introduces on advanced technology trends and best solutions for the supply chain to support enterprises. After joining the three-day congress, besides collecting knowledge and information, the businesspersons will possibly have the answers for the question: What makes a country become rich? One of answers can be that a country becomes rich whenever it owns a developed industrial sector. Vietnam is a developing country with great potential, so the manufacturing and supply chain sectors must receive big interests.
