Special markings on certain articles (us imports) The following articles and parts thereof, unless otherwise subject to the marking exceptions in 19 USC is scheduled in 1304, easily legible and must be characterized by die-stamping, cast-in-mold lettering, etching (acid or electrolytic) with their country of origin, engraved or with the help of metal plates which bear the required markings and firmly attached to the article in a conspicuous place by welding, screws or rivets: Knives, forks, steels Cleavers, pliers, scissors Scissors, razor blades, razors blades for Surgical instruments, dental instruments Scientific and Laboratory Equipment Pliers, pincers, pliers and folding hand tools for holding and splicing wire Vacuum containers and parts of the above article What are the special marking requirements for other products?
