Default Has to change the amendment of the articles in a second country, the country of origin? (us imports)


The country of origin of an article may be changed in a second country, if one of the following occurs:
  1. If further work or material added to an article in the second country, represents a significant change. A major change occurs when a new article created with a different name, character and commitment.

  1. For a good from a NAFTA country: if it is under the NAFTA marking rules (19 CFR Part 102) the second country determined to be the origin of the good, or

  1. For an article as a textile or apparel product (regardless of whether it is a good of a NAFTA country): If the country of origin under the general rules that are set in 19 CFR Part 102.21 to determine the second country. For purposes of determining whether a textile or apparel products from Israel, the general rules apply in 19 CFR 12.130.

Is it necessary, in the words of a product or to precede the name of the country of origin?
The phrase "made in" is only in the case, the name of any place other than the country or locality in which the article was manufactured appears on the item or container and may mislead or deceive the ultimate purchaser is required. The label "Made in (country)" or other similar terms have to appear in the immediate vicinity, and in a comparable size letters, the other locality to avoid possible confusion.
Use of the words used "gathered in", to indicate the country of origin of an article in which the country of origin of the article is the country where the article was finally assembled can. "Assembled in" may be followed by the statement "of components (the name of the country or countries of origin of all components)."
Should be the highlight of a certain size?
The marking must be legible. This means it must have a reasonable size, and clear enough to be easily read by a person of normal vision.
Where should the marking be affixed?
The marking should be located in a conspicuous place. It does not have the prominent place, but it must be where it is shown with a casual handling of the article. Markings must be in a position where they are not covered or covered by subsequent attachments or additions. The marking must be visible without removing the case or removing or changing the position of parts.
How durable is the marking be?
The article should be marked as indelibly and permanently as the nature of the product permit. Marking, which do not remain on the article during handling or for any other reason except deliberate removal is not proper marking.
