The cooling-off period is designed to allow consumers the opportunity to examine the merchandise and to reflect on the completed contract. During this time there is an unconditional right to withdraw. How is the cooling off period calculated? (UK-EU) The revocation period begins when the order is made and ends, in the case of services, works by seven working days after the date on which the order was made, or in the case of goods, 7 days after the date of receipt of the goods. "Working days" excludes Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. |
