For Customs and Border Protection (CBP) purposes, the samples are strictly defined as materials used for the receipt of orders. As a general rule, the sample should not objects that are used or sold, even could be. For example, a dress rehearsal will be distorted sufficiently to not be profitable to himself. A permanent stains, marking it with a stamp "SAMPLE", etc. would achieve it. Samples that require consumption to a potential buyer (food and beverage products are judged perfume) is generally not for duty free treatment in question, although there is only limited provision for alcoholic beverages. |
