Default Purebred animals - breeding- not livestock

Pure-bred animals (other than domesticated animals), which are imported for breeding purposes are duty free under certain conditions. A declaration is required in order to show that the importer is a citizen of the United States, that the animal is imported specifically for breeding, they presented the same as the description in the certificate of pedigree, and that it is registered in the country origin in a book of registration by the U.S. Department of Agriculture recognized.
