The international trade in species listed by CITES is illegal unless authorized by the permit. include items prohibited under CITES, but are not limited to articles from whale teeth, ivory, tortoise shell, reptile skins, coral, and birds.

Information about the flora and fauna, including lists of endangered species may be requested by the agency itself. For hours service and the availability of officers from the other participating organizations may vary from port to port, you are urged to check with your arrival time falling port of importation of goods by CITES. This will ensure speedy processing and reduces the possibility of unnecessary delays.
