The airlines ultimately determine what a traveler can have with them during the trip. It can allow you to travel with knives or swords, if they are packed properly sealed in baggage that is to load in the cargo area examined. Contact the airline you intend to, to find out if that is possible to travel. Customs and Border Protection could not prohibit the importation of swords, although your local police jurisdiction to limit provisions of these weapons in your house. Switchblade knives and other spring-loaded knives are prohibited and may be the subject of a seizure (there is an exception for one-armed persons). |
